IN THE CLOUDS

The Church Is Called

There is a raging controversy among many of our Jesus Name and Pentecostal brothers today. They have spoken many bitter things or has spoken awful things about my message. If you would like to know what message I preach I will tell you. My message quite simply is " Jesus". But I want to show something about what names the church is called. So don't just read this little message, but go to the Bible and read for yourself. I do not Spiritualize the Word of God as I've often been accused. I will give you Bible for all I preach.

To begin with the church is called: A. The body of believers,1Cor.12:28 B. The bride of Christ, Eph.5:22-32 C. The body ,1 Cor.12:27 D.Members 1 Cor. 12:27 E.Body of Christ, Eph.$:12 F. The church Eph.3:21 G. The church of God,1 Cor.1:2 H. The city of God, Heb. 12:22 I. The flock,Acts 20:28 J. Habitation of God, Eph.2:22 K. God's building, 1 Cor.3:9 L.God's household Eph 2:19 M. Israel, Gal.6:16 N. Jerusalem ,Gal. 4:26 O. Kingdom, Heb. 12:26 P. Lamb's wife, Rev., 19:7 Q. Spiritual house 1 Pet.2:5 R. Temple of God 1 Cor.3:16 S. Mount Zion Heb. 12:22 T. Clouds of witnesses, Heb., 12:1.

Friends, if we, the church can be called his body, then why can"t we be called his mountain? If we can be called a woman, or if we men can be made spiritual women which you call the Bride of Christ, then why can't we be called clouds? If God worked in a burning bush, or a fire, or a jackass in the old testament, why can't he work through people today and redeem men and women? Another thing is this. You people will spiritualize serpents, fire, rain, sand of the sea, mountains, but will not even begin to say the church is a cloud. But, it is God's word-It is truth- so why not quit fighting the truth and accept God's word?

The Revealing of Christ

He is being revealed today. He has been revealing himself for thousands of years. He has been hidden for ages. But the hidden mystery of God is being revealed. God is appearing. Jesus is appearing. God is coming. Jesus is coming.

This is for sure. But it is the same way as they have expected him to be for thousands of years? Is jesus actually living inside us now? How did he get there? When did he get there? How do you explain Jesus coming in the clouds? So many many questions to be answered concerning this portion of the message. But we must face them and watch for God's revealing of his Word unto us.Let us begin by showing you how they treated the Son of God when he was here.

When Jesus was born as a baby in the manger, the world was not looking for that type of Messiah. The leaders of his day, as well as the people, fully expected Christ to raise up as a Roman soldier or as a great man in their midst and overthrow the government, as Castro did in Cuba. The most prevalent of these groups were the Zealots, of whom Judas was a member. Whenever Jesus would attempt to tell them he was the Messiah that had come to set up a kingdom here on the earth, they would always go back to his birth and remember that he was a carpenter, the son of joseph. But still,he was God manifested in the flesh.( Matt.1:23)

Notice, whenever he told the kinfolk of Lazarus that he wasn't dead and that he was only asleep,They looked to the future. They would say to him that they knew he was a prophet and that he spoke things hard for them to understand. They told him that one of these days that there was to be a resurrection and that this would be the time that the Lord would come and raise Lezarus from the dead.Jesus replied to them that he was the resurrection. In other words, while you are looking a thousand years away for the resurrection, it is standing here among you. The thing they needed was there under their noses, and they were looking for it to be some other way. It is the same scene today. The church world is looking for Jesus to come one of these days out there somewhere, and he is in us, doing his work right under their noses, and they don't know it.

Now for the idea that Jesus is coming in the clouds. He is coming in the clouds, but it is not rain clouds, rather clouds of glory.Jesus will return the same way he went away. This seems to be the main point of contention. And we shall face it openly.First, lets examine the clouds. The scripture does not say "to" or "on" the clouds. It says "in" or " with" the clouds.

Daniel 7:13," I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him". Rev.1:7" Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen". In Daniel's vision he saw this one coming 'with" the clouds. It did not say he was coming for the saints, but "with" the clouds. Don't you change it! Leave it as it is, "with" the clouds.

St. Matt. 26:64, Jesus said unto him," Thou hast said, nevertheless, I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming "in" the clouds of heaven". St. Mark 13:26," and then shall they see the son of man coming "in" the clouds of heaven with great power and glory". St. Mark 14:62,and Jesus said,"I am,: and ye shall see the son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming "in" the clouds of heaven. 1 Thess. 4:17, " then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up togather with them "in" the clouds, to meet the Lord "in" the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

All of the previous scriptures speak of Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven and of glory. Jesus was "in" the clouds.

Ecclesiastes 11: 3," If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon thr earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be". Wefind that the clouds full of rain empties themselves upon the earth. This is on the natural order of things, refers to the clouds full of water it held to fall upon the earth and nourish the earth. But look ay it another way. Jesus is our water, the living water. The Bible teaches that out of your innermost being flows rivers of living water. This wasn't speaking of a natural river but it spoke of the Holy Ghost that abides in us.This living water would flow from us and go forth to heal the sick, open blinded eyes or to raise the dead.

Jesus told the woman at the well that he had water to drink of that she knew not of. She wondered where he would he would get the water from for he didn't have a pail in which to draw the water with.

In Genesis9:13 we find that God made a covenant with mankind and to give him a sign, he will set his bow"in" the clouds. It did not say among the clouds but it said "in" the clouds.I know that this sounds strange to you, but God's promise to his children would be known by a bow in a cloud. Rev. 10:1," And I saw another mighty angel ( an anfel is a ministering spirit from God) come down from heaven" clothed with a cloud", and a rainbow was upon hos head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire".Here is a spirit that is clothed, or whose outer garment is a cloud. Inside this could is an angel( spirit) had a rainbow,( God's promise to his children being fulfilled) on his head, ( a message will always come from the head) and his face shone. Oh how bright this message is! You can see that there is a seven fold message that is to come from the cloud messenger.

Exodus 13:21 teaches us that the Lord( who is the Lord?) went before them "in" a pillar of a cloud, by day to lead them through their journey for the promised land. St. John 4:24," God is a spirit", and 2 Cor. 3:17 says that the Lord is that Spirit. If you can believe the Bible, then it was Jesus, who was Lord, the Spirit in a cloud leading the children out of bondage. Exodus 16:10 shows us that the glory of the Lord appeared "in" a cloud while the congregation of the children od Israel looked toward the wilderness. Exodus 34:5 And the Lord descended "in" the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. He came down from the heavens insise a cloud. Not in the sky, or by the moon, but "IN" a cloud. Of course there are those who will try to deny that he was even there in the wilderness. 1 Cor.10:2-5, And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea: and did all eat the same spiritual meat; and did all drink the same spiritual drink; for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased for they wereoverthrown in the wilderness. Who was this Rock that they drank from if it wasn't Jesus?

In 1 Kings 18:44 we read where Elijah sent his servent to look for a cloud. Elijah knew, (being a prophet) that God worked in a cloud. The servent went out a total of eight times before he saw the revelation of Elijah. The number 8 is a new beginning. He saw a cloud and it was like the hand of a man.A man's hand has five fingers. There are five letters in the name of Jesus. 5 is the number of grace. This cloud was coming forth up out of the sea. Thee waters here is a type of people. Rev. 17:15 says that the waters was peoples, multitude, nations and tongues. Here is the five fold ministry that was to come out of the body and it would come by grace. The eigth time he went out to look for the cloud meant that God was going to be doing a new thing. The servent went out the first time and he returned and said that he saw nothing. The prophet told him to go again and look. He went seven more times before he saw the cloud. 7 is the number of rest. After the day of rest( for we are entering into his rest) there is to be a new anointing and a new song sung. It is really closer that we think.

Elijah told his servent to go to Ahab and tell him that there was a great rain coming. Here is a cloud and coming forth from that cloud was water (rain). Another thing is that there was a hand and a hand has five fingers, one for each letter in the name of J_E_S_U_S. Since Jesus is the living water, he was being poured forth from the cloud that was the people. He would have to be in the cloud to be poured from the cloud.I believe the writer said that it was a great rain.(verse 45) And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with the clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. Notice this!! You cannot fool a prophet of God when God gave him a message, or reveals something to him. Every time the servent came back to Elijah and reported that he saw nothing, he was told to go back. Go back and look again he was told because he knew what God had revealed to him. There are many people that will attend our services and go away and say that they cannot see our message. I will tell them that there is a message out there and they have to keep going back to the Bible and look, and look, and look again. The message is there and they will have to keep looking until they see it. God has revealed it to me and you cannot convince me that it's not there. You can not fool me. There is a cloud and Jesus is in that cloud and if you will keep looking you will see it.

Psalms 36, tells us that his faithfulness reacheth "unto" the clouds. Pray tell me why the faithfulness of God would reach up to a plain old raincloud? The only thing that faithfulness would profit anyone would be a spiritual cloud. Psalms 68:34, Ascribe ye strength unto God; his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. I challenge you to deny this verse. His strength is in the clouds. Surely you are not so foolish now to believe that God would pour his strength and power into a raincloud! But if you need to be convinced look at Psalms 68:35 with me. O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God. You should be able to look at verses 64 and 65 and see that the strength and power is in 1. his clouds and 2. his people. This shows me that his clouds are the people that he places his strength in. If God gave his strength and power to his people and was to lead them into all truth, then we must be the clouds. However letus not stop here. Let's go a little further into the Word.

Proverbs 3:20, By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down as the dew. Isaiah 5:6, and I will lay it to waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns;I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.Daniel 7:13 tells us that Daniel saw one like the son of man who came "with" not from"from" the clouds of heaven. Matthew 24:30, we read that the son of man would come "in" the clouds og heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 16: 27 teaches that the son of man would come "in" the glory of hos father with his angels. In St. John 17:5 Jesus said," and now o father, glorify thou me with the glory which I had with thee before the world was" Now we know he yearned to receive the glory that he had with his Father before the world was ever formed. What was this glory?? In 1 Sam.4:22 a son was born whose name was Ichabod, which was named so because the glory of the Lord had departed from Israel. In Psalms 3:3 the psalmist David soeaks of the Lord being his glory. In Psalms 16:9 the writer speaks of his heart being glad, his glory rejoicing, and that his flesh should rest in hope.David spake of the Lord being his glory, and we know that 2 Cor.3:17 teaches that the Lord is a Spirit. Psalms 16:9 speaks of his glory rejoicing. This glory that we have read here is none other that the Spirit of God.

Thus, it would seem to be that whenever Jesus wanted the glory that he had with the Father before the world was, that he wanted rid of his flesh body and become once again the eternal God, who was the Spirit od creation. If this is true, and i believe it is, Jesus was speaking in St. Matthew 16:27 of the son of man coming in the spirit. Besides jesus would have to come in Spirit for he has no fleshly body, except you and I. A Spirit has no flesh and blood.

In St. Matthew 17:5, whenever Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James and john, they were overshadowed with a cloud and a voice spoke out of the cloud. There was a cloud and God was "in" the cloud.Matthew 25:31 tells us that the son of man will come "in" his glory. Matthew 26:64 Jesus tells the high priest that he will see the son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming "in" the clouds of heaven. he was not to see them departing "from" a cloud or "down" from a cloud. Acts 1:9 teaches that a cloud received him out of their sight. 1 Cor. 10:2 and were all baptized unto Moses "in" the cloud and in the sea. 1 Thess. 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up togather with them "in" the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall ever be with the Lord. We who are in Christ will be caught up( Paul, John, Elijah were all caught up but they didn't stay up.) in the spirit in the air( there is no air anywhere except here on the earth).Rev. 20:6 blessed are those who hath part in the first resurrection of such second death hath no power thereof.

There shal be a noise,a shout to grt your attention, then the voice of the archangel bringing the message (trump) of God. If there were a rapture, it would not place the saints in the clouds, but way past them. 2 Thess.1:10 When he shall come to be glorified "in" his saints amd to be admired "in" them that believe.( For our testimony among you was believed in that day. Remember that in St. John we read where Jesus wanted to receice the glory that he had with the Father before the world was.( St.John 17:5) 2 Peter 2:17 These are the wells without water,( who are these wells), clouds that are carried with a tempest,( Rainclouds ?) to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever. Do you believe that these clouds here are rainclouds that will abide in darkness forever ? Verse 18 starts out by saying that " when they speak". A cloud speaking ? Does a raincloud have the lust of the flesh ? This is telling us that there are wells without water and that is the people who does not have the spirit of God. These clouds are people that are carried about by every wind of doctrine. Look with me at the book of Jude, 12th and 13th verse and you will see the following words. " These are spots in your feast of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves wothout fear:( so did Judas) clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, withoutfruit;twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."

This is talking about one thing and one thing only. There is a people who are spots in our labor of love. The go to church with you and eat of the Word and yet they will believe anything they hear. They are people who has no Spirit about them. They are called trees that bears no love, joy, peace, etc. They are twice dead which is to say they are dead both naturally and spiritually. They are called waves,( The servent of Elijah saw a cloud coming forth from the sea.) and are livimg shame. They are called wandering stars, which means that they have been in the ministry. If I could give you one verse that would sum it all up togather it would be that " They are wolves in sheeps clothing".Jesus is that living water and if these clouds has no water, they are people that don't have Jesus in them. Rev. 1:7, He cometh "with" the clouds,( not for the clouds).and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.It said here that every eye shall see him,BUT it did not say that every one would know him. Then we must acknowledge thefact that if those who pierced him was to see him, it would have to take place when they were alive. Those who are "lost", ( in the terminology of the church) will not see him until after the so called rapture.

St. John 19:31-37, The Jews therefore because it was tge preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day,( for the sabbath day was a high day) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs. But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true, that ye might believe. For these things were done that the scripyures might be fulfilled, a bone of him shall not be broken. and again another scripture saith, they shall look on him whom they pierced. This particular verse was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as well as when they that crucified him came back to look upon him to break his legs.

Nahum 1:3, The Lord is slow to anger, and is great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and the storm, and the clouds are as the dust of his feet. The clouds are the dust of his feet? Ecc.3:20, All go unto place; all are of the dust. and all turn to dust again. Genesis 3:19,.....for dust art,and unto dust shalt thou return. Psalms 103:14, For he knoweth our frame;he remembereth that we are the dust. How much clearer can we get? The clouds are the dust, and we are from the dust, therefore we are the clouds. One preacher said that we were not clouds, but we all were clods. I agree with him somewhat for we are clods, and the clods are clouds. We are both!! these clouds we have been reading about are not rainclouds floating around in the sky. These clouds are they which is passing over the earth. These clouds are the ones that God was speaking of in Genesis 9:14, and they are the ones that will have a bow,( God's Word) in them and will pass over the earth tp proclaim the everlasting gospel. God created you (spirit, Gen. chapter 1) and then he formed you( Gen. chapter 2) and then he placed himself inside of you.( Gen. 2:7)I would like to leave you with a point here. The Spirit is the life of the ministry and the flesh is the ministry.

Jesus is the light of the world.( St. John8:12) 1 John 1:5, And the light shineth in darkness; and the darknes comprehendeth it not. Rev.21:23, And the city had no need of the sun, neither the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light threreof. After all these verses you should acknowledge that Jesus is God and Jesus is the light( St. John 1:4 In him was life and the life was the the light of men.) of the world. That is not all of it though!! St. Matthew 5:14, Ye are the light of the world. This light that is in the city is the bow that was spoken of in Genesis chapter 9.

Job 36:29, Also can any understand the spreading of the clouds, or the noise of his Tabernacle ? Verse 30, Behold he spreadeth his light( Jesus) upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea. Verse 31, For by them( Who is them? Them is the spreading of the clouds) he judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. Are we all so carnal minded that we can believe that he will judge the people by the spreading of a raincloud ? Don't you know that the saints shall judge the world ? ( 1 or. 6:2) Verse 32, with clouds he covereth the light. Jesus is the light and we are the clouds that he is coming in.

Job 37:15, Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light( singular) of his cloud to shine ? And now men see not the bright light that is in the cloud:but the wind passeth and cleanseth them. St. John 1:10, he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not. Men without the revealing of Christ will not accept the truth of Jesus being in us. 2 Thess. 1:10, When he shall come to be admired "IN " his saints, and come to be admired "IN" all them that believe in that day.(what day?) He is glorified in his saints, not up there in heaven. Here on the earth in the air inside his body.Colossians 1:27, To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles; which is " Christ in you, the hope of glory.Jesus who is Christ is in me is my hope of glory. Galatians 1:16, To reveal his son"IN" me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood. Paul was outside of John the Baptist, was one of the greatest preachers of his era. He was visited by the Lord and God revealed himself to him. Paul was not a liar nor a false prophet. Paul said that God had called him to reveal Jesus "IN" him. Not Jesus sitting on a throne in heaven on the right hand of the father, but Jesus "IN" him in all of his power and glory. In verse 9 of the same book and chapter, Paul said you were accursed if you preached any other gospel that that which he preached. There are a lot of preachers today that are accursed, for they don't preach Jesus in them, but that he is up there in heaven and he has to come again to get them.

2 Cor.13:5, Examine youtselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates ? Here is the truth and sometimes it can be hard. If you don't believe that Jesus is in you, you are a reprobate. The word reprobate means deranged. Could these reprobates be the ones that was spoken of earlier when they were called clouds without water, or raging waves of the sea? Think about it. If Jesus is in you then you must be the clouds that hids him within. You are the dust of the earth, and you are the clouds of heaven.Your flesh is the cloud that Jesus lives in. We are the dust, the clouds, who covereth the light, who judges the people. Need some more scriptures? Heb.12:1, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses. Witnesses of what? Are we not to be a witness of him ? Acts 2:32, This Jesus hath God raised up,whereof we all are witnesses. There is your answer. Christ in you, alive, ruling, reigning and not a dead God. The witness ? Where is Jesus ? In you! What are you ? The cloud of witnesses, the cloud that covers the light. What is the cloud ? The dust of his feet. What was Adam created from ? The dust of the earth. What made Adam live ? The spirit of God. God in the dust, God in the cloud bringing life to as many as can know him. Look around you friend, Jesus is appearing everywhere in a cloud.

Paul was not a false prophet. Paul said that he had been called by his grace to reveal his son in him. Paul did not say that it was the spirit of Jesus, nor the spirit of the Father in me, but he said that he was to reveal ( make known )his son "in" Me, not in heaven, not on the throne, but "in" him.Paul was just a fleshly vessel that was used to house the eternal God, Jesus. Now Paul certainly knew who he had on the inside. But Paul didn't know Jesus by teaching, or by preaching, but he knew him by revelation.Gal. 1:12, For I neither received it by man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Bible teaches that the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. No wonder a man denies that Jesus is in him. He must be revealed to them.( 1 Cor.2:14) 2 Cor. 13:3, Paul stated that they were seeking proof of Christ speaking in me. This Jesus Christ is the one many has believed is setting by the right hand of the Father.Paul had to have Christ in him in order for him to speak in him.

If the world can't see the spirit of truth then how will they ever see him coming in the clouds?Gal.2:20, I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I , but Christ liveth "in" me.

Romans 8:9,But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Paul plainly tells us that it is the spirit of Christ, (we are the Christ, he is our spirit Rev.11:15) and the spirit of God. Two spirits?? It wasn't he that done the works, but it was Jesus in him that done the works. Rom.8:11, The same spirit that raised him up from the dead would also quicken our mortal bodies. Romans 8:10 tells us that it Christ is all and in all. Christ is "in" you all.

Our bodies are the temples of the holy ghost.( 1 Cor.6:19) We have found out that Jesus himself is the spirit of truth, and he is the comforter as well as the Holy Ghost. If jesus is all these, and our body is their(one) temple, then we are the temple of jesus. He dwells within us. We are the habitation of God. We are the tabernacles of God. We are the house of Christ.( Heb.3:6) We are the building fitly framed togather. ( Eph. 2:21,22.)

Lastly, but not the least is from 1 John 2:22, Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denieth the Father and the son. This is all too clear. Jesus is the Christ! No need to go on with this point. His Word is settled. If you don't believe he is the Christ you are the anti-Christ. If you really believe he is the Christ, you are born of God.

May God bless you as you as you endeavor to understand the truth. Jesus is in you! God is in you! The Holy Ghost is in you! The word is in you! 1 John 5:7, For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.We urge you to resd Christ in You before reading this message.
